Summer 2008 Brouchure
Dear Friends,
As we bring our Summer brochure out earlier than we used to it still seems strange that here we
are going into Winter with the nights closing in and here am I planning what to do next Summer.
However, hopefully there will be something in the brochure to help you look forward to warmer
sunnier days. I am pleased to report that we have had an excellent season in general this year,
numbers are up and tour cancellations are down thanks to your support. We were pleased to see
many new faces this year along with old friends that have been travelling with us for many years.
There have been one or two changes this year, we have added further vehicles to the fleet and are
waiting for two new ones as I am writing this letter. As always we will ensure they are the most
comfortable we can obtain whilst making sure that they have all the latest safety measures
included. I am pleased to report that all of our tour vehicles now have Air Conditioning. One of
the rule changes beyond our control is the new legislation that came out in April this year which
governs days off for drivers, so you may notice some itinerary changes reflect this. Finally you
can rest assured that we will be continuing to operate our successful picking up arrangements so
that we will come as near to your door as we can.
With regard to the tours in this years’ brochure, I hope you will find a tour to suit your
requirements, you will notice that there are quite a few new tours in the programme this year right
across the board. There are several new English and Scottish tours with new itineraries, new
destinations and new places of interest. Always popular are boat and train journeys, so we have
included some new ones in the tour itineraries. We are more than pleased to be returning to the
resort of Sidmouth to the excellent Bedford Hotel, we have repeated the old favourites such as
Eastbourne, Bournemouth, Torquay, Llandudno and many more. You will notice some new
Scottish itineraries and also changes to our Continental programme, now DFDS have changed the
timetable to Norway we are able to offer a tour that encompasses all that is best about the Fjords.
We are returning to Tossa De Mar in Spain by public request and have added some new
destinations and variations of old themes to Austria. Finally, a much requested tour is to the
famous Jungfrau in Switzerland, you will notice one of our tours offers the chance to ride the
railway to the roof of Europe.
Finally, I hope you will find something in the brochure that will interest you so that you will give
us the chance to ensure you have a Holiday that you will remember for all of the right reasons.
We still remember our slogan, The Personal Touch and we always try our best to remember that a
satisfied customer is our best form of advertisement
