St Annes-on-Sea is a seaside resort which offers a contrasting atmosphere and style and is much more relaxed than its bustling neighbour Blackpool. Its pier jutting out into sea and its quaint beach huts nestled at the foot of sand dunes. In the opposite direction is the former fishing village of Lytham, with its tree lined streets and pavement cafes, making a nice alternative.
